An Ordinance to amend the Knoxville City Code, Chapter 2 Article I, § 2-4, relative to the oath of office taken by police officers and firefighters.(Requested by Law Department)

On March 19, 2024, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Amend code regarding oath of office for police and firefighters” by a vote of 8–0.
