Apply for and accept Bulletproof Vest Partnership grant

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a grant award from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Patrick Leahy Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant Award of $44,000.00 over a two year period, with a required 50% local match, for a total amount of $88,000.00, to provide funding for the purchase of bullet-resistant vests for Knoxville law enforcement officers.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
