Accept School Violence Prevention Program Grant

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to accept a School Violence Prevention Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services in an amount not to exceed $375,000.00 with a required 25% local match not to exceed $125,000.00, for a total grant amount of $500,000.00, to be used for equipment, supplies, travel and training for school violence prevention in Knox County Schools.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
