Apply for AFG grant for Fire Department fitness equipment

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and, if awarded, accept a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to provide funding pursuant to the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program in the amount of $256,938.00 with a City match of ten (10) percent, which will be used to purchase fitness equipment needed for the Fire Suppression Division of the Knoxville Fire Department.(Requested by Knoxville Fire Department)
