Apply for and accept School Violence Prevention Program Grant

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a two-year School Violence Prevention Program Grant Award from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services in the amount of $375,000.00, with a required local match to be provided by Knox County Schools in the amount of $125,000.00, for a total grant amount of $500,000.00 to expand and improve security at schools. (Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
