Authorize municipal officers to tow vehicles on public property

An Ordinance amending Chapter 17, Article II, Division 4, § 17-98 of the Knoxville City Code giving authority to Municipal Enforcement Officers employed by the Public Building Authority to tow and impound any vehicle in violation of City Code on public property.(Requested by Administration)

On November 26, 2024, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Authorize municipal officers to tow vehicles on public property” by a vote of 8–0.

Unanimous Adopted 8-0-0-1
