Ordinance to close southern portion of E Oklahoma Avenue

An Ordinance to close a southern portion of E Oklahoma Avenue as it abuts property at 510 E Oklahoma Avenue, Glen Oak Missionary Baptist Church, and authorizing the Mayor to execute quitclaim deeds to the adjacent property owners (Council District 4). (Requested by Engineering Department)

On June 23, 2026, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance to close southern portion of E Oklahoma Avenue” by a vote of 8–0.
