Appropriate and donate $1,500 for youth football program uniforms and helmets.
An Ordinance appropriating the sum of $1,500.00 from Parks and Recreation Department funds and donating same to Community Shares, acting as fiscal agent for the Socially Equal Energy Efficient Development Organization, to be utilized toward the purchase of uniforms and helmets for the Baby Roadrunner's Football Inner-City Youth Program.(Requested by Parks and Recreation Department)
On November 13, 2012, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Appropriate and donate $1,500 for youth football program uniforms and helmets.” by a vote of 9–0.
Approved on First Reading.
