Authorize grant application for radar equipment and traffic enforcement
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a grant from the State of Tennessee Highway Safety Office in the amount of $140,800.00, with no required local match, to purchase radar equipment and to provide overtime funding for traffic enforcement focusing on impaired, distracted or aggressive driving.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
