Amend City Code related to beer sales for special events
An Ordinance amending Chapter 4 of the Knoxville City Code, Article I, Section 4-1 (Possession or consumption on certain property prohibited or restricted); Article II, Section 4-76 (Temporary serving area special event permits); and Section 4-77 (Special events permits) related to the sale of beer on certain property to streamline the code, provide for consistency for event management and safety, and provide equitable opportunity for events to be held throughout the City. (Requested by Councilmember Rider)
On March 18, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Amend City Code related to beer sales for special events” by a vote of 7–0.
