Amend and restate Pension System supplemental plan provisions
An Ordinance to amend and restate the supplemental plan provisions of the City of Knoxville Employees' Pension System so as to effect certain requirements under the Internal Revenue Code to maintain the Pension System as a qualified governmental pension plan, to incorporate prior amendments into a single document, and to make other housekeeping changes. (Requested by Pension Board)
On June 24, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Amend and restate Pension System supplemental plan provisions” by a vote of 8–0.
