Apply for and accept grant for electric buses

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and, if awarded, accept a grant a from the Federal Transit Administration and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) to provide funding in the amount of $7,168,000.00 to Knoxville Area Transit for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement (CMAQ) Grant Assistance, with a state match of up to $896,000.00 and a City match of $896,000.00 to purchase electric buses and related charging infrastructure for fiscal year 2026. (Requested by Knoxville Area Transit)
