Close unimproved section of New York Avenue and execute quitclaim deeds

An Ordinance to close an unimproved section of New York Avenue which lies adjacent to City Block 19523 near Mynderse Avenue, bounded by a railroad line and otherwise surrounded by two parcels of land with common ownership, and authorizing the Mayor to execute quitclaim deeds to the adjacent property owners.

On August 5, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Close unimproved section of New York Avenue and execute quitclaim deeds” by a vote of 7–0.

Unanimous Adopted 7-0-0-2
