A Resolution recognizing the 50th anniversary of Beck Cultural Exchange Center and celebrating the stewardship, work, and community involvement of Beck Cultural Exchange Center leadership and members in Knoxville and our region. (Requested by Councilmembers McKenzie, Thomas, Rider, Singh, Roberto, Fugate, Helsley, and Vice Mayor Smith.)

On August 19, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Recognize 50th anniversary of Beck Cultural Exchange Center” by a vote of 8–0.

Unanimous Adopted 8-0-0-1

Amend Section 3 of the resolution by adding the sentence, “The City Recorder is directed to omit the final clause from such copy.”
