Ordinance to close a portion of Ambrose Street and execute quitclaim deeds

An Ordinance to close a portion of Ambrose Street adjacent to City Blocks 19184 and 19206, being bound by Ohio Avenue to the west, an unimproved alley to the east, Tax I.D. Parcel No. 081IC029 to the north, and 1202 Ohio Avenue to the south, and authorizing the Mayor to execute quitclaim deeds to the adjacent property owners. (Requested by Engineering Department)

On September 2, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance to close a portion of Ambrose Street and execute quitclaim deeds” by a vote of 8–0.

Unanimous Adopted 8-0-0-1
