Apply for DOJ School Violence Prevention Program grant

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept grant funding from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, for the FY26 School Violence Prevention Program, in an amount up to $666,666.67, with a required local match of 25% or $166,666.67 and federal share of 75% or $500,000.00, to support school safety initiatives in Knox County Schools. (Requested by Police Department)
