Adjust classification and compensation plans for city employees

An Ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Article III, Division 2, Sections 2-446, 2-449, 2-450, and 2-458 of the Knoxville City Code to adjust the classification and compensation plans. (Requested by Human Resources Department)

On August 18, 2026, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Adjust classification and compensation plans for city employees” by a vote of 7–0.
