An Ordinance to amend the Knoxville City Code, Chapter 5, Article II, Section 5-27, to limit the number of monkeys per household without a kennel permit. (Requested by Operations)

On August 18, 2026, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Limit number of monkeys per household without kennel permit” by a vote of 7–0.
