Revise financial mechanisms for redeveloping blighted properties for housing
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to revise and enhance existing financial mechanisms for redeveloping abandoned, blighted, and vacant properties to facilitate the creation of affordable and attainable housing using proceeds from Round II Empowerment Zone funding awarded to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 1999, and any future federal funding allocated to the Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development for the same purposes. (Requested by Housing and Neighborhood Development Department)
