Ordinance amending City Code Chapter 11 to adopt 2012 International Fire Code

An Ordinance amending Chapter 11 of the Knoxville City Code so as to adopt the 2012 International Fire Code, including Appendices B, C, and D, with amendments and the 2012 Edition of the International Code Council Performance Code with an effective date of May 1, 2013; providing for the review of plans, inspections, and the collection of fees therefor; and providing penalties for violation of said codes.(Requested by Knoxville Fire Department)

On November 27, 2012, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance amending City Code Chapter 11 to adopt 2012 International Fire Code” by a vote of 9–0.
