Apply for $400K grant for law enforcement critical situation training.

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a grant award of $400,000, with no required local match, from the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, to enter into a contract to provide training for law enforcement officers to provide aid in critical situations, evaluate the effectiveness of the training, and purchase the needed equipment for officers receiving training.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
