Amend Pension System Supplemental Plan Provisions (First Reading)
An Ordinance to amend the Supplemental Plan Provisions of the City of Knoxville Employees Pension System so as to effect certain amendments required under Tennessee Law and to maintain the Pension System as a qualified Governmental Pension Plan.(Requested by Mayor/Pension Board)
On September 1, 2015, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Amend Pension System Supplemental Plan Provisions (First Reading)” by a vote of 9–0.
Motion to: amend the Supplemental Plan Provisions of the City of Knoxville Employees Pension System so as to effect certain amendments required under Tennessee Law and to maintain the Pension System as a qualified Governmental Pension Plan.
