Authorize application for Healthiest Cities and Counties Challenge grant.
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and, if awarded, accept a grant from the Aetna Foundation, American Public Health Association, and National Association of Counties to accept at the minimum a $10,000.00 "Prize" for qualifying as a finalist city in Phase I of the Healthiest Cities and Counties Challenge, and should Knoxville be selected into Phase II of the challenge, to accept prize money up to $250,000.00.(Requested by Department of Parks and Recreation)
