Approve rezoning from I to A for E. Luke Greene
Request of E. Luke Greene for rezoning from I (Industrial) to A (Agricultural) 10-B-20-RZ was before the Board of Commissioners. Property located at 1308 Saylors Ford Road / Parcel ID 42 19575, Commission District 8. Ms. Amy Brooks, Knoxville-Knox County Planning, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke on the matter. Ms. Josphine Greene, applicant, was present electronically via Zoom streaming and spoke on the matter. Commissioner Jay asked if there was any opposition to the request. There was no response. Commissioner Beeler moved to approve 10-B-20-RZ - Request of E. Luke Greene for rezoning from I (Industrial) to A (Agricultural) as per Planning Commission’s Recommendation Approve A (Agricultural) zoning because it is consistent with the surrounding area and would allow uses more compatible with the trend in development. Commissioner Busler seconded the motion and upon roll call vote Commissioners Lundy, Durrett, Smith, Ward, Schoonmaker, Hill, Busler, Beeler, Dailey, Jay, and Biggs. The motion carried 11-0-0-0.
