Apply for and accept grant from TN Highway Safety Office for traffic safety enforcement

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a grant from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office in the amount of $200,000.00, with no required local match, to purchase traffic safety equipment and to provide for overtime costs to enforce impaired, distracted or aggressive driving, occupant protection and speeding, and to conduct high visibility and traffic calming operations.(Requested by Knoxville Police Department)
