Withdraw FY2025 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative grant application

A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute any and all documents necessary to apply for and accept a FY2025 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative grant award in the amount of $750,000.00 from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, with no required local match, to support the juvenile and criminal justice systems to address the needs of children and youth impacted by opioid use. (Requested by Police Department) This item was withdrawn earlier in the meeting – see Section 5-a.

On April 28, 2026, “Withdraw FY2025 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative grant application” was withdrawn before the City of Knoxville, TN City Council without a final vote.
