Appropriate funds for Empower Knox Event Grants program

An Ordinance appropriating the total sum of $4,500.00 from the Community Safety and Empowerment budget and donating same to various qualified organizations for events for youth as part of the Empower Knox Event Grants program. (Requested by Office of Community Safety and Empowerment)

On May 26, 2026, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Appropriate funds for Empower Knox Event Grants program” by a vote of 8–0.
