Ordinance adding rule for electronic participation in meetings
An Ordinance amending Chapter 7.5 of the Knoxville City Code, Article II (Rules of Procedure) by adding Section 7.5-88- Rule 27: Electronic Participation, whereby establishing the ability to allow councilmembers to participate in meetings by electronic means under specific circumstances. (Requested by Task Force Chair Fugate)
On September 16, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance adding rule for electronic participation in meetings” by a vote of 7–0.
