Ordinance raising threshold for performance and payment bonds

A Ordinance to amend the Chapter 2, Article VIII, Division 5, Code § 2-918 of the Knoxville City Code, raising the threshold for performance and payment bonds and amending the required amount of those bonds to align with state law. (Requested by Finance Department)

On September 16, 2025, the City of Knoxville, TN City Council adopted “Ordinance raising threshold for performance and payment bonds” by a vote of 7–0.
