AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA: Commissioner Jay moved to amend the agenda to withdraw the following items: Item #51 - Resolution R-22-9-601 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving the Tenth Amendment to Contract Number 12-500 with Rural Metro of Tennessee, L.P. to provide medical ambulance services in Knox County, which amendment adds a temporary fifth response time exemption to begin June 1, 2022 and continue through the date on which the United States Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services Determination that a Public Health Emergency Exists as a result of COVID-19 ends, or until a new Ambulance Service Agreement is awarded through the Knox County Procurement process and is approved by the Knox County Commission and signed by the Knox County Mayor, whichever comes first; and Item #54 - Resolution R-22-9-805 - Consideration of a Resolution of the Commission of Knox County, Tennessee, approving the recommendation of the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee that Knox County's Ambulance Service Agreement with Rural Metro of Tennessee, L.P. (AMR) be discontinued effective June 30, 2023 pursuant to the provisions of Section 803 of the Agreement.
